What is Acupressure?

What conditions does acupressure help?
Cancer: In addition to relieving nausea, there are individual reports that acupressure also helps reduce stress, improve energy levels, relieve pain and lessen other symptoms of cancer or its treatments.

Pain: Some preliminary evidence suggests that acupressure may help with low back pain.

Arthritis: Some studies suggest that acupressure releases endorphins and promotes anti-inflammatory effects, helping with arthritis.

Depression and Anxiety: More then one study suggests that fatigue and mood –both depression and anxiety — may benefit from the use of acupressure.

How does acupressure work?
It is a form of therapy that promotes natural healing, treats the cause as well as the symptoms and drug free pain relief.

Benefits: Just like people, dogs get sore muscles, stiff necks and backaches when they are overworked injured or simply getting older. Also just like people, regular massage can ease some of these discomforts for your canine companions and improve their physical, emotional and mental health.
